Small script used to convert cameras from one type to another. It currently supports Corona Camera, Vray Physical Camera, Fstorm Camera, 3dsMax Standard Camera and 3dsMax Physical Camera.

Note that it may not work if you don’t install the renderer corresponding to that Camera in 3dsMax. It does not require a license of the software, so you can install a trial version of the application if you just need to convert it to your renderer.

Halftone Lines Gradient

Just for fun - create gradient ramp which goes from thin lines to thick so that it can be mapped for example to a falloff map (Shadow/Light falloff pictured).

Cloth Deform

Cloth Deform is a modifier which creates cloth-like wrinkles on top of any mesh deforming modifier, which squashes/stretches its edges (e.g. Skin). It is history-independent, so it gets a single mesh as an input and transform it into a wrinkled-state based on its rest pose. It doesn’t do any simulation, so to see the result at frame 100 you don’t have pre-sim the (0-99) range, like in any other cloth simulators.

Available for 3ds Max: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.

Muti-object properties Modify tool

select objects ,this tool will get there valid properties[radius, height,etc..], then you can modify those properties by this tool.

verson 0.7 features:

  1. Added "Auto" button, can auto update the parameter list
  2. Added "Select by class" can select object by class
  3. Added "Select random" can select object random
  4. Auto hide UI element which not used

 

FumeFX Partitioner

This script will divide a fumeFx grid into partitions.
This can also be used to simulate a batch of fume grids locally or via backburner.

BatchImportSTL

This script was written by Larry Minton. It was originally called LoadAndSaveAll.ms.

I simply have made A FEW modifications to process .stl files.
The script imports all .stl files found in a given directory (and sub-directories, if desired), then saves them out as a .max of the root same name to the same source directory.
The import uses the most recent settings.

Math Float Controller

My first MCG Controller, this is a super simple Math Float Controller, it allows you to mix controller types together without having to use a list controller. 

If you want to do something simple like have an object in a position and then add a noise controller to that position you can use this.

shortcutter

This useful little script combines commonly used macros for modelling into a single context based macro. So you need to remember only one key instead of many shortcuts (I recommend spacebar). The idea: Most actions will only be called in certain conditions. If you select open edges you probably want to bridge, if you select one vertex target welding is a good guess, and if nothing is selected you might want to add geometry by using cut or swift loop...
