Where to Download DViewPaint II :
DViewPaint is no longer available :(

 

DViewPaint II is used to sketch 2D animation on top of 3dsMax`s viewports but can also be using for reviews and critiques as well.


DViewPaint II Features :

- Sketch 2D animation on top of your 3dsMax viewport
- Or import an animation file ( like a Maya playblast ) as a background and sketch over it
- Uses Max`s keyframe and timeline to time your animation and clone/delete frames
- Layers, with visibitly management
- Frame Ghosting
- Multiple brushes, colors, opacity, eraser etc.
- Render your animation to a file or a reference plane

DViewPaint is no longer available :(

- Fixed a bug that would prevent Vista users not logged as admin to install the tool

 

Note : when reporting a bug, please write down the DViewPaint version you are using as well as the 3dsMax you are using it on.

Great tool! It should be used at least for the sake of incredibly cute icons. Takes me back to the classic icon adventures.

Unfortunatly DViewPaint II

Unfortunatly DViewPaint II uses some 3dsMax2008+ specific features :(
At least for 3dsMax9 you can always use DViewPaint I : http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/dviewpaint
It`s not as cool but it gets the job done in 3dsMax9 :)
