Particle script operators

 


Two script operators for pFlow.

List Scripts In Folder

 With that script you can list folders full of scripts.

On the right click menu you have the functions for:

  • run script
  • edit script
  • new script
  •  refresh list
  • open path in explorer

 

You also can dock the script window to the 3ds max main gui:

render multiple max files very easy with this script.

 

how to use :

Drag this script in Max or run via MAXScript -> Run Script.

Render settings will be used from the files unless you overwrite them.

If you need more info, just comment. I hope the interface is obvious.

Cleaner

Problem: The filesize of scenes suddenly increases dramatically. This slows down the workflow since every manual-save and autobackup-save takes long and it fills your fileserver with maxfiles that are very big.

Reason: 3ds max adds notetracks and reactor-collisions to the scene. A common workaround for this problem is ctrl+N (New Scene: Keep Objects and Hierarchy) or to merge your scene into an empty new scene.

Helper Manager

A panel containing many functions for creating point or dummy helpers. Some features include...

- The ability to add helpers to a selection of objects.

- The ability to add helper to subobject faces, based either on direct selection or named selection sets.

- A shared size setting used throughout all creation methods.

- Point helper style toggles.

- Many methods of creation such as origin, surface, object pivots, picked verts.

- You can duplicate an existing hierarchy with new helpers or Bone System, or even a key baked hierarchy.

Outliner

 The Outliner 2.0 is a fast and easy to use scene management tool. It has a wide range of features, including selecting, hiding, freezing, linking and grouping objects in the "Hierarchy Mode". In the "Layer Mode" you can organize your scene by dragging&dropping objects from one layer to the other. What's more, the Outliner offers support for nested layers, to manage scenes more efficiently. The interface is nimble enough to keep it open constantly.

Explodes a mesh object creating single objects for each material ID.

Controller Manager

A composite floater containing tools for adjusting controller or key settings.

Features include...

- Setting object locks (same as the Hierarchy panel)

- Set keyable tracks

- Convert controller types or remove constraints

- Adjust XYZ Bezier tangent types and TCB tangent types

- Settings can apply to multiple selected objects at once

Playback Tools

This script is a highly modified version of Jim Jagger's original Playback Tools and uses his icons.

Features added:
- More time controls
- A time scrubber
- UI hide toggle
- A new rollout for saving up to four named time ranges
- A compact and wider time scrubber mode (accessed via the thin bar below the time scrubber)
