Biped Helper

A supplementary panel for use with Biped.

Main features include:
- Supports multiple Bipeds in the same scene
- Selection of core parts
- Hiding/unhiding and trajectory toggling
- Adding or toggling sliding/free keys for limbs
- Setting TCB values on a selection at current slider time, or over the full time range (if keys exist)
- Key all and delete all keys

Skipped Tools

introduction:

Skipped tools is a collection of scripts which is highly needed in daily works too quick access some features in 3ds max, for example you can quickly change both system and file unit with a single click, or a kind of switch rendering option which makes object unrenderable, and turning its visual style to xray mode for quick accessing that object and navigating it inside the scene ..

UVPipe - Mod by Norman3D

This script will allow you to send meshes to UVLayout and get them back. It's a modified version of Robert Fletcher's script.

It should be compatible with 3dsmax 9 all the way up to 3dsmax 2013.

Bitmap Tracking / Resizing ....

Bitmap Tracking / Resizing... is tool similar to Asset Tracking. But it gives more possibility to work with bitmaps:

- Resize selected bitmaps to 2k, 1k, 512, 256, 128, 64px and save in new folder (not available in demo)
    - easy batch resize and reconect selected bitmaps (by size) before sending to external renderfarm,
    - resize bitmaps in large animation sceens to reduce memory ussage,
- Sorting files by name, image width, height, file size, path, status (Found - network, Found -  local, Not found)
- Advanced change path (with paths history and rename path prefix eg. change only server/drive letter)
- Select objects by selected bitmaps
- Select / show materials by selected bitmaps (loads materials with selected bitmaps  -> to material library)
- Copy local files to network with auto path replacing (for distributed / network render)
- Copy selected to one path with path replacing or just copy files - collect selected to project forlder or quickly copy+change selected paths to not show your paths structure
- Copy all with path structure - similar to max archive
- File status in 3 colors -> Found - network, Found -  local, Not found ( eg.: easy sort and select all local -> copy selected to network)
- New - in v0.988 - All assets tracking - test only - it needs more testing - to turn it on > right click menu > Show all assets...
- New - now supports .ifl - sequence image files - resize / copy / path repleace (not in demo version)

Cleaner

Problem: The filesize of scenes suddenly increases dramatically. This slows down the workflow since every manual-save and autobackup-save takes long and it fills your fileserver with maxfiles that are very big.

Reason: 3ds max adds notetracks and reactor-collisions to the scene. A common workaround for this problem is ctrl+N (New Scene: Keep Objects and Hierarchy) or to merge your scene into an empty new scene.

Batch Camera Render

You can also try new beta of Batch Camera Render 2 - multiple setting for one camera and new render submit procedure.

This script aims to replace standard 3dsmax's Batch Render and imitates Houdini Output Node workflow. Using it you can specify rendering parameters - frame size, frame number, output path - directly to camera object, so every camera in scene 'knows' what it intended to render. Additional functionality is Lighting Assignment - you can specify which light will be turn on or off for selected camera during the rendering.
