Hello, it's a simple script which make life easier for game-dev 3d artists.

Channel Cleaner

Channel Cleaner:

-Clean selected UV channel

-Clean several UV  channels "From: N-channel To: N-channel"

-Clean Vertex Color/Illumination/Alpha channels

-Works with editable poly and mesh

-Works with one and multiple objects

Thats all.

Quick updates :
1 : Add a selection of objects in the list instead of having to pick them one by one.
2 : You can undo (Ctrl+Z) what you just have painted after exit the painting tool (right click or escape).

The result of two days of experiments around MouseTools.

You can use it to paint and distribute objects (copy or instances) on the grid or on surfaces. With Random controls, collisions detection, attachment surface...
You can paint all the max objects (geometries, helpers, proxies...)

RhombicPrism primitive

Script make simple rhombic prism. There's ability to change width, length, height, taper scale, number of height segments. Also provided "Generate Mapping Coords" checkbox.

If you're tired of 3dsmax Auto-saving and freezing when you are working, this script is for you.

It's based on an idea of Vincent Lacour.

installation :

Put the file in the Scripts/startup folder of your 3dsmax installation.

Restart 3dsmax How it works :

When you start 3dsmax you'll notice a new tool at the bottom left of your UI.

If you right clic on the biggest button, you'll see a few options :

Materials to Scene

Straight forward script to load a directory of your choice or by recursively going through a single directory (be careful it doesn't go through too many as this will be slow to load) and loading up .mat files.

From here the script will apply Materials only (no maps) to teapots.

I use this to quickly populate the scene with all materials inside a .mat file to tweak and update it quicker.
