VRay Camera Manager

The DebrisMaker2 is a free procedural geometry creation tool for 3ds Max, that lets you quickly create objects for your 3D scenes. Wall Worm Model Tools

Pretty Link

This tool links selected object to another object using position/rotation target (not scale).

This method allow to link without dependencies (you can link, then unlink and use reversed link, that Link Constraint can't do).

Animation will not be spoiled if something changes at frame of linkage. There will be jerk but it can be easily fixed with Align.

You should animate link target, because currently object is not animateable during linkage.

And you can manually animate weights of links to achieve smooth transition between links.

Noors Normal Thief

This is a script to copy vertex normals from one object to an other, based on SlideNormalThief.

The algo is the same but exponentially faster : each point on the target object gets the normal of the closest point in the reference mesh.

The main difference is the way i find closest vertices on the reference mesh.

For 2500 vert:

SNT : 9s

NNT : 1,3s

For 10000 vert:

SNT : 145s

NNT : 9s

Works with poly and mesh. It just adds an edit_normals modifier on the target object.
