Hi, hope you like my SkinHelper.

I tried to add a bunch of selection helping tools to the skinning process, so I replaced the hole UI of the 'Weight Tool' copied the default functions and added some more functionalities like, ...

Select by Weight; Save & Load Selection; Mirror Selection; Shrink, Grow, Loop, Ring addition; Set Weight Slider

I would like to read your feature ideas for this kind of tool.

Bake vertex position from modifier stack

I was wondering on how I could achieve a footstep-like effect on a mesh without some fancy softbody/physics/plugin-action, and I came up with this script. It basically bakes the vertex position from the modifierstack on each frame to a keyframed editable_poly object. It keyframes only the modified part of the mesh, and does not change it back, hence the "track-effect". See the example image:

If you want to position an object onto another object, for example a pot onto a table, the usual way would be to drag it all the way to the table, and then drag up carefully to position it. This tool makes it easy and fast. Just select the object that you want to position, and then click the surface of the object that you want it to be. If position on surface is off, it will position the object on the grid. If you CTRL+click, a copy of the object will be made.
