This small script will allow you to change the assigned texture extensions from one type to another either globally or to selected objects, the reason why I created this tool is you might face one of the following scenarios:

SME Get Selected Materials

This script is useful only for script writers.

This is just simple function to get selected materials / textures / controllers from active view in SME.

Function returns materials :) - not names of materials.

Mesh Surface

Creates surface defined by four splines. The order of picking the splines matters - they should form a closed loop. If you get a weird looking mesh, try once again starting with another of the four splines:

Note that if any of the splines are animated, the resulting mesh is animated, too.

Bitmap Tracking / Resizing... is tool similar to Asset Tracking. But it gives more possibility to work with bitmaps:

- Support for All Assets now
- Sort files by name, image width, height, file size, path, gamma, texture name, status (Found - network, Found -  local, Not found)
- Resize selected bitmaps to 2k, 1k, 512, 256, 128, 64px and save in new folder (not available in demo)
    - easy batch resize and reconect selected bitmaps (by size) before sending to external renderfarm,
    - resize bitmaps in large animation sceens to reduce memory ussage,
- Convert... see below
- Change / Rename paths (with paths history and rename path prefix eg. change only server/drive letter)
      * Choose from path from history (already used paths in curent project)
      * Pick new path
      * Batch rename paths beginng ( drive letter or paths C:\sample\abc\ and rename them to Z:\3d\sample\abc\ )

This script try to fix the problem created with the 2014 version when Autodesk remove the “lock zoom and pan” option from the background menu. It creates a “Virtual Studio” in a very easy way with planes that are frozen but still visible and far away so they are not annoying in the perspective view. It is a must have for any modeler that want to use reference images.

UVW Randomizer

This script is a way to create UVW maps in several objects at the same time with the intention of
randomize the position of them. It can be useful in the creation of objects with the same
material but different pattern like tiled floors.

Very useful plugin which can make your materials dirt in one click!
- You can control dirtiness.
- You can make presets more dry or wet.
- Dirtizer supports Multi-material (you can set random dirt to all materials at once)
- You can add your own textures of dirt. (Organize textures in "Dirtizer" folder as you want)

Most renders are supported now! Tested with V-Ray, Mental Ray, Scanline, Corona, Redshift.

Textures2materials is a very handy plugin which can turn multiple textures into materials at once (into multi-material or into multiple material slots). It also checks if your textures have a bump versions and load them as bump. "Must have" plugin for any 3D designer.
