Viewport Bookmarks

This is a tool for bookmarking viewport positions. It's especially useful in large scenes.

Features
- Add and remove viewport position bookmarks, and name them.
- Switch between bookmarks by clicking on the bookmark name.
- The window is dockable
- The data is stored persistent in a scene node, which can easily be transferred between scenes:

Adding notes directly in scenes(.max files) can be useful in many ways - to remind you something about any aspect of whole process of 3d work, for future reference, about whys or hows, for a colleagues(who are going to use the scene). 

Group It

This script makes a group from selected objects, it inherit orientation from first selected object.

There is a bug when objects are already part of a group, i'll try to fix it...

update 1.1: the bug with existing groups is solved, it doesn't crash anymore but it needs to explode existing groups before grouping, so it doesn't allow nested groups, i'll try to find a work around for next version.

update 1.2: the update 1.1 created some new bugs... version 1.2 should be ok

Features

- Group in local space, and world space.

- Group by Point Helper, in local space, and world space.

- Toogle between regular groups and Point Helper Groups

Copitor allow you to quick copy/paste selected objects to another Max scene or in another Max if you have 2 3dsMax open. I also like to use it like as a "quick backup" for try something, and to be sure to loose nothing :)

Installation: Drop The file in max viewport and go to Customize ==> Customize User Interface ==> Category: zOffTy Tools ==> Copitor

VrayProxy Thumbnail Generator

This script was requested by 1rv here:

It is converting selected objects to VrayProxies with their materials as .mat files and create thumbnails (two options are available rendered thumbnails or viewport grabbed thumbnails)

if selected objects are already vrayproxies it will generate the corresponding .mat files and thumbnails and copy the existing vrayproxies in the destination folder.

The objects need to be oriented toward the front view.
