Oormi Tools

 

Oormi Tools is a script which has a number of tools for everyday use. These are meant to be time-savers, click reducers and some are useful new features.

Game Models Tools

This script lets you perform various texture map batch operations and batch import and map various game object formats. You can batch populate and rename the filepaths for different map slots ( as well as set other common properties ). If you have many bitmaps named according to a naming convention, you can quickly populate the appropriate maps accordingly.

At the current moment, there is no help documentation.

Simply run the script from the maxscript menu.

AutoBones: New auto-rigging tool for 3ds Max

Hello, my name is Kevin Mackey.

During my time as an animator and technical artist, I have developed a tool called AutoBones, a system for
1) quickly creating character rigs using the Max bones system
2) allowing each chain of bones to be keyframed as a single object, and
3) switching seamlessly between IK and FK animation.

I have run a beta test in order to confirm a high degree of performance and stability, and am now making a commercial version available, including a 30-day free trial.

Carver and Make Hollow

Carver is a set of functions for carving up objects into other objects, similar to using ProBooleans but different in that the results are parts broken up into convex pieces (provided that the original object is convex).

Carver Script

It also has a function to turn any Convex object into a hollow version of itself (similar to the results of the Shell modifier) except that the results are broken into convex pieces.

Selecting or applying material ID's with one click!

Rollout with button grid for selecting or setting material ID's of selected polys up to ID 24. Works with editable poly only. Displays selected poly's material ID if they're same.

Examples:
Want to set some specific material ID up to 24 to selected polys? One click.
Want to select polys with same material ID's of selected poly? One click.
Want to check if all desired polys have some material ID? One click.
Want to change all polys with material ID 4 to 8? Two clicks.

Multi Slicer Pro

Multi Slicer Pro is a maxscript file that cuts your object with slicer modifier on any number of slicers, retaining at the same time the modifiers stack and providing you with an interface to control the parameters of the modifiers added to an object. As a result you have a setup that allows creating complex and unexpected animations of your object. Have free version.

Randomize UV coordinates

This script randomizes UV Offsets of selected objects or selected object's elements. It's an irreplaceable tool to bring some variace to your models!

Installation:
1)MaxScript --> Run Script
2)Customize User Interface --> Toolbars --> Category "# Scripts"
3)Drag and drop "randomize UV coordinates" to any panel you want
