A support panel containing many methods for adding point or dummy helpers to the scene, as well as options for baking, constraining, linking, orienting, selecting, manipulating, duplicating existing hierarchies using helpers, or replacing them with a Bones System.

A simple script that takes a selection of helpers, or any object really, and applies a path constraint to them in relation to the selected spline. It then applies the appropriate wire parameters so that all the helpers are 'driven' by the first helper, like a train engine and its cars. I find it useful for creating vehicles with treads.

Script developed to enhance the speed of animating hands. You can save a lot of poses and then load it anytime you want. OBS1: It only saves position and rotation, scale information is not stored. OBS2: You cannot use position or rotation list in the controllers, but you can use float list.

Select a loop of edges both on quad and non-quad geometry. Both a command without GUI and a settings dialog to fine-tune the stop cases are available.

UPDATE v1.1 brings 3rd option for quads conversion, minor interface changes and fixes the bug with giant n-gon.

Hi there people :) This is my first attempt of creating script, no coding, just using standart 3DS Max actions (+500 to compatibility, -200 from speed). I haven't used any tutorial as a foundation because i found this method myself while experimenting with edges.

Hexasphere

Truncated icosahedron-based geosphere – there are always 12 pentagons, all the other faces are hexagons. If you prefer polygon regularity over area uniformity, switch on Relax. Gets rather slow after 20 iterations, especially with AutoSmooth and Relax on.

This tool is for converting from hexadeciaml strings to max color values and from max color values to hexadecimal stirngs

to install:
exxecute\run the script from maxscript menu
go to customize -> customize user interface and then go to the toolbar tab
find the mark tsang category and drag hexColor onto a toolbar of your choice

to use:
either use the color picker to pick a color to display the hexadecimal string

or:
use the editText box to enter a hexadecimal string e.g #5c9c00 to change the color swatch to the hexadecimal color

Hexagon pattern primitive. The size of individual hexagons is driven by a texture map. Map colors can also be saved to vertex color channel.

A simple script to create either hexagonal tiles or a mesh with hexagonal holes in it.

Simply run/drag into max to start the interface.

All tiles are instanced by default for your convenience :)
