Vray AutVel Passes

This tool creates a series of passes in vray for compositing: Ambient occlusion, matte pass, vray toon, wireframe, clay render, ghost render (like evermotion's pdf), ghost and wireframe together. Feel free to use it whenever you need. This is an open source project for my degree (Industrial Design, Rome).
*version v0.9: first version shared. Save your file before use it.
*update v1.0: minor bug fixed, add some instruction in the head of the code.
*update v1.1: add vray phisical camera support for passes; changed the HSV Exponential color mapping type to Exponential

Vray ambient occlusion

This script renders an ambient occlusion pass with VRay from any scene - without changing anything. There is no need to prepare the scene in any way either.

VRay 1.5 or higher is required for the script to run!
If you are using VRay 1.46, there is an older version available, without dirtmap features.

 

waRp TexToMtl

This script is meant to be used only in a specific workflow, when importing textures from Mari.

Usage: Choose the directory where the textures are stored. If the texture names contain the keywords of the mapping slots name like "Diffuse, bump, opacity.." then the script automatically suggest those textures to be assigned to the according slots.
By rightclicking the Assign button all the textures from all the mapping slots will be cleared.

VRay Camera SLR Setup

With this tool you can easily set up the basic parameters of VRayPhysicalCamera
(Aperture [f-stop], shutter speed and film speed [iso]) to mimic real SLR cameras.

Vray AutVel Quality

This useful tool let you set different levels of quality of the rendering: very low, low, medium, high, very high and perfect.With the new buttons you can create quickly a studio setup for design objects. You can choose a size of output too in order to create in few clicks any kind of render (study, production, fun, etc). I hope you like it. mental ray Proxy Manipulator

 

Working with mental ray proxies can be very tedious. As they are used for vegetation alot, the need for variation is there, to make it look believable. This script gives you options to vary scale and all animations aspects of all selected mr proxies. It also has a minimized version where you can quickly change the viewport resolution of your proxies, helping to speed up the viewport alot.

FumeFX Gi Maker

 

Hi,

This script will Prepare FumeFX containers for creating GI masks to be used later in Comp. Also has controls to optimize the render settings of your shader and shadow creation.

 

Things this script does:

Sets fire and smoke color to be a flat color of your selection.

Sets the Strength of Gi multiplier in your grid.

Turns shadows on and off.

VRay Lens Effects Presets Manager

Save settings lens effects for Vray.

Save settings lens effects for V-Ray

VrayProxy Switcher

Select a bunch of objects and put unique nodes to a specified directory as separate max files with the related vrayproxy data saved next to it.
Istance copies will be replaced with the new vrayproxy object.
Get previously saved objects back to max whenever you wish.
