Playback Tools

This script is a highly modified version of Jim Jagger's original Playback Tools and uses his icons.

Features added:
- More time controls
- A time scrubber
- UI hide toggle
- A new rollout for saving up to four named time ranges
- A compact and wider time scrubber mode (accessed via the thin bar below the time scrubber)

Biped Helper

A supplementary panel for use with Biped.

Main features include:
- Supports multiple Bipeds in the same scene
- Selection of core parts
- Hiding/unhiding and trajectory toggling
- Adding or toggling sliding/free keys for limbs
- Setting TCB values on a selection at current slider time, or over the full time range (if keys exist)
- Key all and delete all keys

Helper Manager

A panel containing many functions for creating point or dummy helpers. Some features include...

- The ability to add helpers to a selection of objects.

- The ability to add helper to subobject faces, based either on direct selection or named selection sets.

- A shared size setting used throughout all creation methods.

- Point helper style toggles.

- Many methods of creation such as origin, surface, object pivots, picked verts.

- You can duplicate an existing hierarchy with new helpers or Bone System, or even a key baked hierarchy.

Spring Magic

Spring Magic is a script for adding quick secondary animation to splines,bones and biped.
Current version not supported with CAT (Character Animation Toolkit). Might support CAT in the future version.
SpringMagic is available for Max 9 and above.

metamesh Asset Manager

a simple to use asset manager, similar to "openPipeline" for maya, but for 3dsmax. First release on it. feel free to send comments and feedback.
How to: Run the script and then go to customize-> customize user interface.You will have a new entry called metameshTools. Assign it to a hotkey or toolbar.
The first time you run it you will have to pick a folder to store projects. You can create new projects, create new assets, new disciplines, save the files etc, open merge and xref files by right clickinging on them etc... Is fairly straight forward!

Multi Slicer Pro

Multi Slicer Pro is a maxscript file that cuts your object with slicer modifier on any number of slicers, retaining at the same time the modifiers stack and providing you with an interface to control the parameters of the modifiers added to an object. As a result you have a setup that allows creating complex and unexpected animations of your object. Have free version.

Rapid Camera Pro

Rapid Camera is the max script that creates both the camera rig to ease camera animation process and provides an interface to control the rig animation parameters.Have free version!

BIPPY

Bippy is a tool for converting FBX bone data onto a 3ds Max Biped and offeres serveral tools to help optimize this conversion pipline.
Its perfect for motion capture data when the client needs the data in a biped format.

The Script's feature list includes:

Cleaner

Problem: The filesize of scenes suddenly increases dramatically. This slows down the workflow since every manual-save and autobackup-save takes long and it fills your fileserver with maxfiles that are very big.

Reason: 3ds max adds notetracks and reactor-collisions to the scene. A common workaround for this problem is ctrl+N (New Scene: Keep Objects and Hierarchy) or to merge your scene into an empty new scene.

DebrisMaker2 - Procedural geometry creation tool

The DebrisMaker2 is a free procedural geometry creation tool for 3ds Max, that lets you quickly create objects for your 3D scenes.
