V-RayMax Converter PRO is the best tool for convert 3d scene (materials, maps, lights, cameras, proxies, modifiers, helpers, render elements, etc.) from various render engines to V-Ray and from V-Ray to Corona Render, and also for converting V-Ray and Corona materials/maps to Standard materials/maps.

V-RayMax Converter PRO converts the source materials with maximum possible preservation of the basic material properties, such as diffuse, specular, opacity, glossiness, roughness, bump, displacement, selfillumination (emission), translucency, reflection, refraction, although it is necessary to understand that certain materials may need adjustments once the conversion process is complete. Also, all the textures that are used for the above parameters were saved. As for the special procedural maps, they are converted only if there is an analogue. Otherwise, procedural maps are baked into textures or removed if the resulting materials can be used without them.

you script is amazing! i use very much for my work...please, when you update VRayMtlConverter (version 3) for work in 3dsMax11/2009 with Sp4 or Sp5? please all we need this great update. (sorry my bad (english)

Very useful, for I just had

Very useful, for I just had to convert about 20 standard materials to vray materials, this made it a lot easier. It took me some trial and error to figure out that the material after being converted does not show up in the material editor though. I understand it is so to keep the old material, but if not needed: Maybe you can add a checkbox that lets me choose if the old material gets replaced by the new one, so that i can access it directly via Material Editor?
Just a suggestion, the script is great anyway ;)

One more vote for vray to

One more vote for vray to finalRender R3 conversion because fR R3SE SP2 simply rocks. If you need any professional help regarding fR materials, i would be glad to help you out (finalRender's fR-Arch material is practically the same as MR's Arch&Design mat.). Both fR-Arch and fR-Advanced materials in R3 are slightly different comparing to fR R2.

Hi Dkny2001! Version 2.5 works correctly only with Brazil Advanced v1.2.53 (see the description above). The following version of the converter (v3.0) will support new version Brazil (Rio 2.0).

Hello there. First i must

Hello there.
First i must say thanks for the great plugin!
But i have a problem.
I have a 3d model of a car with brazil materials.I use 3dsmax2008 with vray 1.5. I installt the learning version of brazil from the splutterfish site and install it.now i would like to convert tha materials to vray...but the button for the convert is not available (grey button).If i load the 3d model in max i take a info screen tha many things couldnt not load to the file (like .dls shaders etc)
What is the problem...please help me out of this ..

You should instaling in a root folder 3ds max, instead of in a folder "3ds max 9 root folder\scripts". For example: D:\3dsmax9
